INW consolidates the scientific activities in the H2 Innovation Center of the HC-H2 (Helmholtz Cluster for a Sustainable and Infrastructure-Compatible Hydrogen Economy), where Forschungszentrum Jülich contributes its extensive hydrogen expertise and connects with partners. The research focuses on technologies for chemical hydrogen storage using liquid or easily liquefiable hydrogen carriers that can be handled similarly to conventional fossil fuels.
