FEV
FEV is an engineering service provider with 7,200 employees worldwide. Core areas of expertise include vehicle and powertrain development based on all known energy sources, as well as pure electric vehicles, the development and distribution of measurement and testing technology, and the energy sector, which deals with the development and design of systems and components, for example, for Power-to-X plants.
Within the scope of this project, the focus is on the Business Unit Energy and STS, to develop and set up an SOEC system in a container for applied research, which can then be tested and (as part of the second project phase) coupled and tested in the overall process at FZJ. FEV aims to develop a compact, efficient SOEC container system, with the option of further developing this concept into a commercial test bench concept later on. As part of the DryHy project, conceptual further development of FEV's own test bench control system, Morphee, for use with SOEC systems, is also taking place.
