Institute of Energy Technologies - Electrochemical Process Engineering

IET-4 works on pioneering innovations for electrochemical conversion systems for direct hydrogen, syngas, and electricity production using electrolysis and fuel cells. It also researches liquid energy carriers as fuels and the aspects of efficient and environmentally friendly production and use. Experiments are conducted to investigate structural interactions, and complex heat and mass transport processes are simulated.
