The Institute for Technology and Innovation Management at RWTH Aachen University (RWTH TIM) is a renowned European research institution specializing in strategic, behavioral, and computer-supported technology and innovation management. The interdisciplinary team extensively works on topics such as strategic technology management, open innovation, innovation culture, organizational change, business model development, and customer-oriented value creation. The Regional Innovation Lab of RWTH TIM is dedicated to researching regional innovation ecosystems, especially in peripheral and structurally weak regions. Here, knowledge is systematically collected and experiences evaluated to develop evidence-based methods for discovering regional potentials and promoting innovation-led structural change.
